Event Overview

At the Junior League of Richmond’s (JLR) 65^th Book & Author Dinner, six authors will speak about recently published books and experiences in the field of writing.  An autograph reception will immediately follow the dinner with books available for purchase.  Previous authors have included Robert Frost, Pat Conroy, David Baldacci, Mary Higgins Clark and Cokie Roberts.

Attendance & Impact

Last year’s event was attended by nearly 1,000 people and raised $50,000 to support the JLR Literacy Through Art Outreach program and partnerships with the Southside Child Development Center and YMCA Bright Beginnings, among others.
