A Sustaining Member is one who has contributed 10 or more years of Active member status to the Junior League of Richmond (including the New Member year). Alternatively, an Active member who is over the age of 45 and has contributed 3 or more years (including the New Member year) is eligible for Sustainer status by May 31 of the current League year. Many members contribute more than 10 full years service, so don’t think you MUST go Sustaining after 10 total years of service!

Sustainer Requirements

Membership dues are due April 10, 2026. Sustainer dues amounts are as follows for the 2026-2027 League year: $148.41 up to age 80 | $0 age 80+, which includes $43 for membership in the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).

New to Richmond? Transfer your Membership

Junior League members new to Richmond can transfer their membership by contacting your League that you were most recently active with and they will initiate the process on your behalf. Questions about transferring can be answered by transfer@jlrichmond.org.
