About The Clothes Rack
The Junior League of Richmond operates one store that generate funds for Junior League of Richmond programs in our community and membership training. Sales are made possible entirely by the generosity of donations of clothing, household items, and furnishings by our members and the community at large.

The Clothes Rack was founded in 1948 and has quickly grown to become the Junior League of Richmond’s #1 fundraiser. In the last 25 years, The Clothes Rack has returned more than $2 million to the Richmond community. While our community programs funded by The Clothes Rack’s profits have been diverse over the years, the goal of the store has always been the same – to provide new and nearly new merchandise at affordable prices to the community.

Shop with us
Hours
Shop with us every day. We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Parking
A parking lot is available for shoppers to park in at the corner of Mulberry and W. Cary Street right beside the store. Street parking is also available. The lot is open to the public only during store hours and closes promptly at store closing time. Vehicles left in the lot after closing hours are subject to being locked in and can be retrieved the following day during opening hours.

Star Loyalty
Earn Star Rewards when you shop! Redeem your Stars for savings. Sign up at the register. No purchase necessary to enroll. Star Rewards may not be used for certain events.

Holds
The Clothes Rack does not permit holds on any item. No items will be held overnight.

Return Policy
The Clothes Rack makes no claims of brand authenticity of any items. All items in the store are final sale except electronics. Electronics have been checked to ensure they conduct power and have basic functionality. Defective electronics may be returned within 7 days with the original receipt and tag attached to the item. Refunds will be issued in the form of a store eGift card.

Donations
Hours
Donations are accepted six days a week. We welcome donations Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Donations will not be accepted on Monday.
Staff is available to assist donors to help unload their vehicles. Please pull to the back of the parking lot and ring the door bell by the back door to drop off items. Please call ahead at (804) 358-4693 for larger donations (more than 5 containers or particularly heavy items).

Inclement Weather Policy
We do not accept donations when the store is closed. We do not accept donations during precipitation (rain or snow) or severe weather.

Items We Accept
Items need to be in good to excellent condition. This means that items should be clean, stain free, no holes, no odors, no pet pair, and in good working order. If uncertain as to whether an item is acceptable to donate, please ask yourself whether it is something that someone else would buy in its current condition.
