Put your imagination in gear and go to the 19th Annual Touch a Truck Event presented by the Junior League of Richmond

RICHMOND, VA  – The Junior League of Richmond is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated 19th Annual Touch a Truck Event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The event will be held at the iconic Richmond Raceway, offering attendees an unforgettable day of family fun and excitement. 

Touch a Truck has become a beloved tradition in the Richmond community, attracting families and individuals of all ages to come together for a day filled with exploration and entertainment. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, guests will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a vast array of vehicles, including construction equipment, emergency vehicles, big rigs, and more.

Adding an extra touch of exclusivity and excitement, the event will kick off with a VIP hour from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, allowing VIP ticket holders early access to the impressive lineup of trucks and machinery before the general public. 

“The 19th annual Touch a Truck is heading this way and we are blowing our horns with excitement!” said Zoe Raine, Touch a Truck Chair of the Junior League of Richmond. “This fun-filled day is not only an opportunity to experience the trucks and drivers that keep our community going, but is also a fundraising event for the Junior League of Richmond. In addition to the impressive lineup of vehicles, Touch a Truck will feature a range of family-friendly activities, including face painting, a petting zoo, dance performances, mascot appearances, food vendors, and more. Whether attendees are aspiring firefighters, construction workers, or simply curious minds eager to learn, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets for the 19th Annual Touch a Truck Event are available for purchase online at https://juniorleagueofrichmond-bloom.kindful.com/e/touchatruck2024 or by calling (804) 643-4886. General Admission Individual Tickets are $12.00 and Family Four Packs are $42.00. Only General Admission Individual Tickets will be available the day of the event at the ticket sales booth. VIP tickets for the exclusive early access hour are also available for those looking to enhance their experience. VIP Individual Tickets are $17.00 and VIP Family Four Packs are $60.00. VIP tickets are limited and only available in advance. Children under the age of 1 are free to attend. All tickets are non-refundable.
