WHAT IS BOOTS TO SUITS?

BOOTS TO SUITS is a Junior League of Richmond clothing voucher program for men and women administered through The Clothes Rack to assist veterans transitioning from military life to a new career.  The program will provide veterans with two free career outfits, consisting of 1 suit and 1 business casual outfit or 2 business casual outfits. Vouchers will be valid for 60 days and can be used at either of the store's two locations, enabling veterans to shop a greater selection of sizes and styles to find the look that makes them feel their best.  Spouses of veterans who are job seeking and are the main provider of the household are also eligible.

I AM A VETERAN, HOW DO I RECEIVE A VOUCHER?

The Junior League of Richmond is partnering with veteran service providers who will distribute BOOTS TO SUITS vouchers to veteran clients.  Program partners include:

Virginia Department of Veteran Services' Virginia Wounded Warrior Program

Virginia Employment Commission's Disabled Veteran Outreach Program (DVOP)

McGuire VA Medical Center's Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Program

Petersburg Freedom Support Center

As the program continues to be sustained with donations and operating support, the Junior League will partner with additional veteran service organizations to expand our reach in serving transitioning soliders.
