Nonprofit Learning Point (NLP) is a certificate program to support educational opportunities and capacity building for the vast network of nonprofit organizations in the greater Richmond and Tri-Cities areas. Volunteers, paid staff persons or board members of nonprofit organizations or anyone considering a career change to the nonprofit sector is eligible to participate in the program. This program is able to meet the need for high quality, relevant and affordable courses, conferences and seminars and to offer a certificate in nonprofit management because of the combined resources of Virginia Commonwealth University, The Community Foundation, the Jackson Foundation, Capital One Services Inc., United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg, the Virginia Association of Fund Raising Executives, the Junior League of Richmond and Philip Morris USA.
