2013-2014 New Member Class Recruiting Events
We are so excited you are considering joining the Junior League of Richmond, Inc. If you are looking for an organization where you can make a difference in the greater Richmond community, try new things, build your existing talents and meet new friends with common interests, then the Junior League of Richmond is the right place for you!
We are now hosting recruiting events for those interested in joining the 2013-2014 New Member class that begins in September 2013. Please join us during the following recruiting events to explore the many benefits and opportunities available with membership! We invite you to attend any or all of the planned events to learn more about the Junior League of Richmond, our mission and your future in our organization.
Each of the “Getting to Know the Junior League” events will cover different aspects of the Junior League. Unless otherwise noted, the following events will take place at the Mayo-Carter House, located at 205 West Franklin Street:
February 7, 2013 – Getting to Know the Junior League, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
March 7, 2013 – Getting to Know the Junior League, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
April 11, 2013 – Getting to Know the Junior League, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
May 9, 2013 – Getting to Know the Junior League, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
May 23, 2013 – Applications due! Open House, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Transferring to the Junior League of Richmond
If you are moving to the Richmond area and are interested in joining the Junior League of Richmond, we would love to have you! The Junior League of Richmond has played a major role in expanding and enhancing the quality of life experienced by local citizens.
To transfer to the Junior League of Richmond, you must notify your CURRENT League. The procedure varies by League, so check with your League.
Your League will notify the Junior League of Richmond of your intent to transfer and the chair of the Transfers Committee will contact you with additional information about our League and requirements.
If you are due a refund from your previous League, please work with them to arrange for the refund. Each League is independent and funds are not transferred between Leagues.
Transferring out of the Junior League of Richmond
If you are moving out of the Richmond area and would like to transfer your membership to another League, please contact Martha Ware Bryan, Office Manager and Bookkeeper.
